FAST ROPES & F.R.I.E.S.
Fast Ropes and F.R.I.E.S. (Fast Rope Insertion and Extraction System) designed for durability and ease of use, increase deployment and retrieval speed, reducint risk to helicopters and personnel. All Fast and F.R.I.E.S. ropes are available with a range of terminations including the new and innovative lightweight D.L.T. (Dyna-Light Termination).
Fast Ropes (Deplaning or swarming ropes)
Originally designed and developed by Marlow Ropes in conjunction with the British Special Forces, Fast Ropes are used for rapid deployment from helicopters without the need for harnesses. Tried and tested by regular and special forces, Marlow's fast Ropes are in use in the four corners of the globe.
The construction of Marlow Fast Rope allows exact and comfortable control throughout the descent.
In response to the needs of special units, we now offer a selection of 4 termination options:
F.R.I.E.S (Fast Rope Insertion & Extraction System)
Designed as a multi use product for rapid deployment and retrieval, reducing the risk to helicopters and personnel. Each Marlow F.R.I.E.S. can carry up to 12 fully equipped personnel with it’s loop and lanyard system and can also be used as a regular Fast Rope.

R.P.X. System (Rapid Personnel eXtraction)

- Super light-weight - easily stored, carried, deployed and retrieved
- Super strong - can accommodate greater numbers of personnel without compromising overall strength and safety
- Standard systems carry 6 or 12 opersonnel, however, RPX is fully customisable to carry any number of personnel up to 12.
- Two loop Integrated safety system for all personnel
- Floats, allowing significantly easier retrieval from water borne operations
- Integrated D.L.T. termination
