MARLOW ELECTRONIC TRACEABILITY SYSTEM (M.E.T.S.)    

M.E.T.S. equip Marlow Defence products with serialised RFID chips for full electronic traceability.  Each NATO coded rope is embedded with an RFID chip which contains a unique serial number and allows end users to record product usage history by scanning the rope before and after every use.

In addition, every RFID chip is scanned as it leaves the Marlow factory thereby linking it to their standard product serialisation procedure, which affords full product traceability in the unlikely even of a fault with the product.

M.E.T.S. comes as standard on Fast Ropes, R.P.X. Systems, F.R.I.E.S. and Abseil Ropes (61m only).

M.E.T.S. is available as an option on all other defence products and Marlow can also supply scanners for RFID chips.
